GENERAL

The following terms and conditions apply to all items offered by the firm.

Despite being correct at the time of publishing, the Company maintains the right to amend its terms and conditions at any time without notice, and it is the Customer’s obligation to ensure they obtain the most recent version.

QUOTATION & PRICES

The Company’s rates are contingent on availability. If an order for an item has been placed, the price will be honoured unless the item is out of stock and fresh stock is anticipated to arrive at a higher price.

VARIATIONS TO SPECIFICATION AND DESCRIPTIONS

All descriptions and specifications presented by The Company, as well as the facts offered in any company brochure, price list, or website, are regarded to be approximate only and do not constitute part of a contract.

PAYMENT

Payment for items is due at the time of purchase.

If payment or a portion of the price is not received by the due date, the Company has the right to charge interest on the amount owed from the due date until the date of payment.

Until the consumer has paid the entire outstanding amount for the products, the corporation retains exclusive and total ownership of the goods.

DELIVERY & CARRIAGE

Prior to accepting an order, delivery rates must be agreed upon.

Please note that any damage must be notified through email within 24 hours of delivery, describing the damage/defects of the item obtained from the courier; after this period, we will not accept any claims.

Unpacking, placing, and assembly of any products are not included in delivery.

LIABILITY

Consumers can make claims about the quality or fitness for purpose of goods under the Sales of Goods Act 1979, as allowed under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, but the Company is not liable for those claims. We accept responsibility for death or personal harm caused by our carelessness, but not for indirect or consequential losses or loss of profit.

Customers ordering age-restricted items like solvents and knives agree that they are above the age of 18 and that delivery will be received by someone over the age of 18.

Goods sold are not insured for delivery unless otherwise confirmed by Kamil Catering Equipment.

Please be aware that if you provide false information to your payment provider or bank regarding the warranty procedure used, we reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings without further notice in order to recover our costs and interest on the outstanding amounts.

WARRANTY

The item comes with a 12-month parts-only warranty that covers just manufacture problems. During the warranty term, the Company is under no obligation to cover any labour or engineer fees.

Unless otherwise noted, goods are guaranteed against defects for the duration of the manufacturer’s warranty or for one year from the date of delivery. Kamil Catering Equipment has the right to repair, replace, or exchange goods that are found to be defective during the warranty term. Only the UK mainland is covered by this warranty for parts and labour.

All goods must be installed (where required) by a professional tradesman who possesses the necessary credentials or certificates at the time of installation. The Company maintains the right to request evidence of installation for any item covered under warranty.

Kamil Catering Equipment must be notified within 24 hours if any goods are missing or damaged during delivery. Large goods, such as refrigerators, must be examined for damage upon delivery, indicating any damage that occurred during delivery.

To file a warranty claim, the Customer must do so in writing, together with any supporting documentation such as a certified engineer’s installation report, photographic proof, and maintenance records. All warranty claims that do not include the necessary supporting paperwork will be denied until the necessary materials are obtained.

Glass, stones, bulbs, rubber seals, and fuses are among the goods or components that are not covered by the Company’s parts-only guarantee.
